The product
One score, projected across the life of the asset.
Scroll the tenure. One pack ages from month 0 to month 60. State of health declines, the confidence band widens with the horizon, residual value steps down at each financing point, and risk flags surface where the telemetry shows abuse. This is what the asset looks like over the life of a decision.
The projection across the life of the asset
Projection by horizon
| Month | SoH % | Residual |
|---|---|---|
| 12 | 95.4 | INR 80,500 |
| 24 | 92.2 | INR 72,500 |
| 36 | 89.3 | INR 65,000 |

| 60 | 84.0 | INR 52,000 |
Residual values in rupees and the financing horizons are illustrative assumptions.
Risk flags
- Cautionmonth 19
Heavy fast-charge intensity
Sustained high-rate charging in the sample telemetry. Watch for accelerated wear.
- Criticalmonth 41
Thermal event
A high-temperature excursion in the sample telemetry. Flagged for inspection.
Sample data for one illustrative pack. Ionscore is a data and scoring layer: it scores State of Health and residual value with confidence, and does not lend, insure, trade, or recycle.
One estimate, six decision lenses.
The same calibrated state-of-health estimate answers a different question for each party. All six lenses ship with the scoring engine today.
Health grade
A to D
The consumer-grade summary of pack health, backed by the calibrated score.
Second-life value
repurpose valuation
What the pack is worth in its next life, for resale and end-of-life calls.
Warranty loss-cost
expected cost
What standing behind a health guarantee is expected to cost, per pack.
Charging-behavior risk
forward risk
Risk ahead of the pack, read from how it is actually charged and used.
Reason codes
per-score attribution
Every score explains itself: which signals moved it, and by how much.
Drift monitoring
recalibration signal
Flags when the fleet stops resembling the data the model was graded on.
Four parties price the same battery. None of them can see it.
A lender, an insurer, a buyer and a recycler each need a different answer about the same pack, and today each guesses separately. One calibrated score serves all four. India's draft Battery Pack Aadhaar guidelines name these same four constituencies, and define pack status in health bands (A above 80 percent, B from 60 to 80, C below 60) that Ionscore already reports.
Lenders and NBFCs
EV loans carry 10 to 30 percent lower loan-to-value and 1 to 9 percent higher interest than the identical petrol loan, because the collateral cannot be priced.
- Collateral valuation from your own price basis
- Risk tiering off the downside (P10) state of health
- Suggested maximum LTV from your policy table
- Portfolio monitoring with covenant and floor alerts
- Repossession-value read at the point of default
- Securitisation and co-lending tape exportOn the roadmap
Insurers
EV premiums run 20 to 30 percent above comparable petrol cover, because battery risk has no standard input and claims history is thin.
- Charging-behaviour and abuse risk, separated by driver
- Forward risk flags with signed reason codes
- Degradation projection across the policy term
- Rating-factor API with reason codes for pricingOn the roadmap
- Pre-claim degradation and abuse reconstructionOn the roadmap
Marketplaces, dealers and buyers
No standardised battery-health disclosure exists for used two- and three-wheelers in India, so resale is priced on guesswork and the secondary market stays thin.
- Verifiable certificate with a public verify page
- One-line embeddable badge for a listing
- Consumer-readable A to D health grade
- Revocation, so a stale certificate cannot be traded on
- Peer benchmarking against the same model and age cohortOn the roadmap
- Bulk inspection and dealer batch scoringOn the roadmap
Refurbishers and recyclers
Packs retain up to 70 percent of capacity after automotive life, but without standardised diagnostics that value is stranded. Roughly 128 GWh reaches recycling by 2030, 59 GWh of it from EVs.
- Second-life valuation for the pack's next life
- Repurpose, marginal or recycle routing with stated assumptions
- Projected crossing of the automotive-end threshold
- Form-4 ready quarterly export for CPCB reportingOn the roadmap
- Registry binding so a certificate travels with the packOn the roadmap
Filled markers ship today and are callable through the API. Hollow markers are on the roadmap and are marked so you can tell the difference before a procurement conversation rather than during one.
See it run on your packs.
